2018 TCS NYC Marathon - 3:43:12

FINALLY! Finally, I got to run the NYC Marathon, the largest marathon in the world and my home race. I can’t believe it took this long, but I was 0/5 with the lottery before eventually taking advantage of NYRR’s 9+1 guaranteed entry. With 9+1, you run nine NYRR races and volunteer for one in a single calendar year. After doing this, you are given a guaranteed entry for the following year. [Read More]

NYRR Staten Island Half Marathon - 1:45:39

I’m a little late getting this recap up, but such is laziness life, right? Right. So you might be surprised to see a half marathon recap coming at ya, but here we are. This was my fifth half marathon this spring and sixth (sorta…depends on if you count the whole runDisney debacle) for the year. It was also, somehow, my first New York Road Runners race even though I’ve lived in Jersey City for two and a half years and have been an NYRR member for over a year. [Read More]
